Atheist's Guide to Survival

Why Turn to Jesus?

Jesus is the only one who can save anyone and everyone on Earth. Jesus is the only one who can show you a way to eternal life and joy in Heaven. Jesus loves you and wants you to turn to him for your guidance and strength. It is through Jesus we find eternal life in Heaven. Jesus grants – as a gift – eternal life to those who truly come to believe in Him.
Before Jesus was born, humanity, in general, had turned away from the guidance of God and produced a world which was selfish, violent and godless – just as was mentioned in 12) More about the Decline of Society’s Standards.
Jesus was sent to the world to offer humanity a new start, and an opportunity to turn back to God and his teachings and for each of us to act as God wants us to act. Jesus was asked what is the most important way to live your life. In book of the Bible Mark, chapter 12, verses 29-31, Jesus answered like this:
29 “The most important one is this:… 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
If we were to all put others before ourselves, then the world would be a fantastic place. Imagine everyone you meet putting you before themselves and you putting them before yourself. Want would be gone, stress would be a thing of the past and fear would not exist.
Jesus was sacrificed on the Cross. This sacrifice was for us – all of us at the time, since then and for everyone into the future. However, how do we understand “sacrifice”? If we look at the Cambridge Dictionary it gives us the following definition of “sacrifice”:
“To give up something that is valuable to you in order to help another person.”
Jesus was sacrificed on The Cross during an excruciating, prolonged and humiliating ordeal for us all to know him and for our sins to be forgiven. His sacrifice was over 2000 years ago yet we still know of it and are still talking of it. As Jesus was hanging on the Cross his thoughts were for others, even for his executioners. He said, “Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.” If Jesus can forgive his executioners then he can forgive us all – for whatever we have done - if we come to him with a sincere heart.
Repentance and belief in Jesus as your Saviour means you will be given a joyous and eternal life in Heaven.
Jesus told us that we will all experience problems and disappointments during our life here on Earth. See book of the Bible John, chapter 16, verse 33: “I have told you these things so that you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble but take heart. I have overcome the world.”
In Heaven we can live forever with our loved ones. We will be given a new immortal body, will be free from all illness and aging and all sadness, loneliness, stress, pressure, and conflict will be gone.
All we have to do is to give our hearts to Jesus, seek to understand His teachings and action them. Then seek forgiveness when we get things wrong.
Conclusion

Have we made you think? We certainly hope so and we certainly hope that you will now turn to Jesus as your Saviour. This has been just a snippet of what we could have written about the Rapture and the Tribulation but of course we had to start somewhere and that somewhere we sincerely wish is the beginning of your own study into the Bible and future events.
If you would like to know more, we can recommend the books of Dr. David Jeremiah. You can also visit his website at DavidJeremiah.org Dr. Jeremiah has written many excellent books. Two of our favourites which cover these topics are: “Where do we go from here?” and “The Book of Signs” however there are many more. We have found much of my knowledge and inspiration for this book from the works of Dr. Jeremiah.
We can also recommend biblegateway.com and biblehub.com for their excellent Bible referencing and explanation. We found both invaluable whilst writing our words for you. We thank them greatly.
Also we would recommend the teachings of Senior Pastor Jon Norman of Soul Church, Norwich. You can view much of his content on YouTube; simply search “Soul Church Norwich”. Jon Norman is amongst the very best Christian teachers we have ever experienced.
Next, find yourself a good Church to attend where your faith will be built in the company of fellow believers. You will soon realise that you are not alone and these Christian people are not a load of nutters after all. You will be surprised and delighted to find-out who is a Christian.
If you are reading this after the Rapture and during the Tribulation times, there will still be many Church buildings around. Visit some and discover who is visiting too. There, not only will you find others who are turning to Jesus, but also great books and materials to help you build your knowledge and faith.
Please remember although all this may seem impossibly frightening and totally inconceivable, the very end of it all can be fantastically wonderful and happy. For those who turn to Jesus and stand-firm against Satan, the Antichrist and the False Prophet – and do not take the mark of the beast whatever form it is - then a life of joy and happiness which is far removed from evil, mental and physical hurt, stress, insecurity, worry, need and harm - awaits you in the loving embrace of Jesus. We urge you to turn to Jesus now; We hope “now” is before the Rapture so that you will avoid the Tribulation times, however if you are living through the Tribulation times, remember that Jesus loves you always and that you can still turn to him at any time. If you are living during the Tribulation times, hold firm no matter how you are suffering, even to the point of death - don’t take the mark of the beast - these times are only temporary – just a few years – and your reward will be joy and happiness for eternity in Heaven.
Please keep this information safe and ready-to-hand to use to help and enlighten others. We urge you to take heed and action now to avoid experiencing times of great anguish.

We won’t wish you luck as luck does not come into it. It is faith and trust in God and Jesus Christ which you need as this faith and trust is the conqueror of all wrong and evil.

God Bless.
